Oskar Weiss and Oliver Falk are happy to announce their next exhibition, Sveta Mordovskaya Complex Doll, which takes place in the gallery’s rear house from October 21 through 24, 2020. All works on display were originally planned for this years FIAC art fair in Paris, which has been cancelled.
At the end of the stairs the visitor encounters a poster that shows a doll in a strange-looking close-up. At second glance, the photograph turns out to be a digital scan, which makes the relationships of proximity and distance, perspectives and proportions appear strange. In the exhibition rooms there are seven different, about plate-sized ceramics treated with colored glazes, as well as an installation made of straw and an oversized floating ball made of transparent gift foil.
